I really enjoyed the Trent-Severn Waterway, but I can’t believe the money they charge to go through the locks even covers a fraction of the cost to run this entire system. Someone in the Canadian parliament must really like boating…

Fantastic run, must have been very exciting with the skinny areas with high pucker factor. Hello to both of you!

Dan & Deb,
I have been following your progress. This update answers many questions on the waterway. Enjoy your adventure.

Nice job Dan and Deb through the Trent-Severn canals.. either a lot of research, or a lot of luck – or both.. to get through those narrow passages unscathed. Looks like you could reach your arm out and touch the wall!
Maybe I don’t want my ducks in a row….
Somewhat harrowing account which leaves some questions unanswered. It must happen that boats meet head on in the narrowest section. Then what? They must have to pass very slowly with bumpers out, or very very fast, like pulling a band-aid.
