Dec 12: Apalachicola to Punta Gorda, FL.

I wish I could post an entire day of our trip instead of just 4 1/2 minutes. Especially some random weekday, where we are exploring a steamy hot little mangrove trail on our dinghy, at the same time you are reading emails from corporate…in 38 F temps…in your gray cubicle. Not to gloat or make everyone feel bad, well…yes, actually most definitely for that reason, but also to give you something to look forward to. Florida is definitely “the promised land” and hopefully you will all make it here some day. Anyway, on this video, we made the big jump from the Florida panhandle (which is really nice) to southwest Florida, specifically to the Geyer’s “winter estate” in Punta Gorda. My sister and brother in law were excellent hosts. I would recommend their ‘personal’ marina to anyone passing through.
