Sept 13: Shipboard despiderization

I know my wife does not read the intros to our videos, so I will explain that 3 wks ago I was bit in the arm by something in the middle of the night. I happened to be awake at the time, and slapped the offender, then felt that there was something more than just a mosquito under my palm. It was a spider. Since then, I have become a bit of an amateur spider hunter, to minimize the chances of this happening again. Kinda tough to sleep wondering if you’ll be feasted upon once you close your eyes. Anyway, enjoy this video, a bit different than most, and as always, watch this on a big screen.

  1. I’m not shocked there was no disclaimer stating that “No animals were harmed during the filming of this segment” at the end.

Also, since there are apparently no spiders in Canada, these must be border-jumping Mexican spiders that humped 1000 miles to Michigan just to torment you.

    • Listen, someone has to take the fall for these spiders, and the buck stops at the Oval Office for this one. Wish there was some wiggle-room on this, but no.

  2. So far, your best videos involve mom handing you blog fan mail. I just hope that your followers keep up with this insightful stream of questions!!

    • Hmmm, I don’t remember having a “favorite daughter”. This must have come from a North Korean hacker, but despite the questionable origin, your comment has been noted.
